Is there a way to delete all the words I've added to my predictive text? Like I've accidentally added some words that are just spelled wrong. And I wanna know if I can start those over from scratch.

I would like to know the answer to this as well. I have saved a few typos without even realizing it.
There sure it.
Go to "all programs," tap "settings," tap "applications," tap "manage applications," wait quite some time for the list to populate ;-), tap on "touch input," and then tap on "clear data."
Keep in mind that there is no way to selectively edit the dictionary on the Eris, and when you clear the data, you lose all of the custom words you have "taught" the phone - correct and incorrect alike.

Really? Its either all or nothing?!?! I know there was a program that I had on my HTC Touch where you could go in and edit your "dictionary". I'll have to check my old phone when I get home to see what the program was. Note: I had a cooked rom loaded on it.
Go to settings>applications>running services>android keyboard>user dictionary.
My wife says there is a way to edit your User Dictionary on the Eris after the 2.1 update. Settings> language and keyboard > touch input> user dictionary and then you can add or delete words you don't want. Hope this helps.
