03-09-2010 04:47 PMNot surprising due to the pending Apple lawsuit, I'm sure they are hard at work modifying the new phone to not infringe on supposed patents, discontinuing the Eris may just be a legal maneuver as well.

03-09-2010 06:05 PM@ backnblack...didn't mean uproar literally...just figured ppl would not be too found of the idea that the eris may be discontinued after only being on the market since november...personally it being discontinued for the incredible doesn't really bother because I'm running the leaked 2.1 and the two year contract that I signed is enough to keep me level headed... :-)

03-10-2010 09:58 AMI actually thought the Incredible's specs were more in line with the N1 rather then the eris.. Either way I bought my eris off contract so i can upgrade anytime i want. The Eris is an awesome phone and I really like Sense but the eris is a bit too slow. Especially coming from the Moto Droid that I had for a month... so I'll definitely be upgrading.
the only thing that sucks, is with all 3 of my recent phones that I've owned for 4 months or less, I would go out and buy screen protectors ($15) and Seidio Cases ($30).. All of which i wound up giving away for free when i sold the phones.. -

What am I missing that makes the Eris become discontinued? My latest phone before my amazing Eris was the Samsung Glyde multimedia phone it was so horrible that I was almost happy that it was discontinued -
