    Numbers in text area box

    Can anyone tell me what the small numbers that appear in a box that show up as I'm typing a text are? The seem to pop up on occasion during texting....

    If you are using Handcent SMS you can. Menu->settings->display message counter. Not sure about Chomp or the stock messaging app.
    If Netflix would instantly stream to my Eris I would likely never get on a computer again...
