    Only google sites work....

    On my way home the other day and I lost internet with my Eris with the exception of any google site. Could search the web no problem but once I clicked off google it would stop. Once I went back to a google site it worked again. Wiped and relflashed. Wiped everything I could think of in recovery and reflashed everything again. Same result. Also reflashed google apps and nothing. I'm currently reactivated on my Droid 1 until I can figure this out.

    Any ideas? I tried searching for it but only fixes I found were for computers.

    I was running the latest Evervolv Rom on it. I reflashed CM7 Cyanogen too and no fix. Only works on a Google Site.

    Sounds like a proxy issue! But if you've flashed a new ROM and no fix, that's so weird.. maybe something on the sd card is causing that.. like a scripts running something it shouldn't.. but then again it could be a virus on the sd.. I've never seen anything like what you describe tho..

    I did everything I could to completely wipe any trace of anything off the phone & start from scratch.
    Can't seem to find a good rom for those so I went back to my og droid.
