True--and I didn't mean to suggest that other phones could accomplish this. This is just the one action I wish my phone, the Eris, could perform. It'd be sweet if Comedy Central came out with a TED-like app that gives you video and audio choices.

YET.. pretty soon droid is getting flash, but idk about eris.
the eris is a pretty good phone over all though.

Wish my phone was just a little bit louder on ring tones, and a little stronger on the vibrate side, but other then that, I'm in love with this phone! Now that I have the 3500 Mah battery, I think I'll be very happy till they release the Nexus One for Verizon.

Support searching People (contacts) by any field in the record, not just the name. This is a universal Android issue, but I have not heard any mention that this is something Google will rectify in the near future. It is, however, a complaint that I see on multiple boards.
