Change Lock screen

This is a discussion on Change Lock screen within the HTC Droid Eris forums, part of the Verizon Android Phones category; Ok so changing the lock sceen wallpaper is one thing but how about getting rid of the arch with time date and verizon logo...

    Change Lock screen

    Ok so changing the lock sceen wallpaper is one thing but how about getting rid of the arch with time date and verizon logo

    It's hard for me to imagine a world where Verizon let's you removed the word 'Verizon' from one of their phones...

    I think there's some apps in the Market, though I haven't tried them, like "Lock 2.0"

    You can use regular wallpapers for the lock screen but they seem to have to be downloaded.
