    Flashing time question!

    I have a 1.5 firmware flashback
    Rom, and I was wondering if you can flash from a 1.5 firm to like a 2.2 and skip the 2.1 ?

    Yep. Once you're rooted and have the custom recovery installed, it won't matter what rom you flash. Check the sticky for a list of popular roms. You don't have to flash kaosfroyo as the rooting and flashing instructions indicate. You can flash any of the roms, for any version of android.

    Basically, android converts apps into a more compressed form and stores it in the dalvik before it executes. This is to maximize the limited resources of a mobile device.
