About LinkBacksI'm running kaosfroyov39 which already comes with ADW pro I believe. Well I have ADW EX and LauncherPro Plus and was wondering which one is better and if lpp is better, then can I switch out ADW for lpp on my Rom ?

01-26-2011 11:53 PMyou can always switch launchers. you might also take a look at GO Launcher EX - it's fairly new, but has some nice features.

01-27-2011 01:32 PMI don't know how to get rid of the ADW that came with this ROM though because its a built in app kinda thing. I downloaded uninstaller pro and ADW doesn't even show up on it !

01-27-2011 01:36 PMyou don't need to uninstall it. just download whichever alternative launcher you want. then, hit menu/settings/applications/manage applications/ADW/clear defaults. this will clear ADW as your default launcher. then, when you hit your home key, a window will pop up asking you which launcher you want to use. you can then select your alternate launcher (and check the button to make it your new default launcher, if you wish). if you decide you want to switch back to ADW, or try a different launcher altogether, just follow the same procedure.

01-27-2011 11:14 PMThere are also Home Switching apps, like Home Switcher and HomeSmack. I use HomeSmack myself as Home Switcher isn't as good as it used to be before Froyo.
