droid eris and nook color please help

ok i just got a nook color and an eris neither one is rooted how and what do i need to do to beable to get wifi so i can get on the internet from the nook??

First u need to root the eris. Follow the directions in the sticky at the top of this forum.

Once ur done w that, go into the market and get "wireless tether for root users".

Couple notes: u said u just got the eris. U must have a data plan for this to work. Also, u might check whether a nook can connect to an ad hoc network. Any computer can, but many devices such as nintendo products cannot.

Just did some quick research. Looks like the nook must also be rooted and have usb adb set up.

Google "nookcolor adhoc wifi". The first result contains links w directions on rooting the nook and setting up usb adb.
