About LinkBacksHave had my Eris for about a month. Just the other day when a picture message comes in I get a grey box saying download. When I click to download i get a message saying Download of Message Unsuccsessful. Is this something anyone else is experiencing?

12-29-2009 11:57 PMnope, sometimes the pictures come through, but when the grey download box pops up and i click it it tells me it was unscuccesful so i dont know what the hell is wrong with it

12-30-2009 06:57 AMIf I wanted to talk to someone about picture messaging and my lack thereof, would I need to contact someone at HTC or Verizon? And how would I go about obtaining those customer service numbers?

12-30-2009 10:54 AMI had a problem sending pictures or video texts via WIFI. If I turned WIFI off and went 3G then they'd go through on a retry.

12-31-2009 02:22 PMSo I just sat on Verizon Wirelss Tech Support for the last 45 minutes to figure out something about my pix/flix messaging problem. When I would send a message it would never get to the destination. When I would receive one I would get the download option but never see the pic. He had me do a hard reset on my phone and everything and I reprogrammed it. He sent a test picture to me and it worked!
The culprit...I had my 3G turned off. I was able to use the browser because I always turned on wi-fi in my house then turned it back off. 3G coverage carries your data and when it's turned off you can't send or receive data....DDDOOOOOHHHH!!!
Maybe my ignorance will help someone else. -
