About LinkBacksThere is ad appears on the bottom of the screen of my Eris, see attachments. I've been trying to remove it by factory reset in the privacy setting. Wiping data and reinstalling new ROM couldn't get rid of it. It's driving me nut for few days. Can someone help me to get rid of it. I greatly appreciate.

12-30-2010 05:18 PMI will suggest installing 'Lookout' from the market. It is a app which will check for all sort of malware and spyware and if you do not want to go Pro it is free. I have very good reviews of the app and use it myself so believe in it...

12-30-2010 05:40 PMThen probably you do not have one. It might be just some ads coming which happens a lot with apps that you download from the market and also depends on the ROM.

12-30-2010 06:03 PMI believed the Advanced Task Killer and Live Scores don't have ads. I installed those 2 apps on my wife Droid 1 and I don't see any ad at all

12-30-2010 06:22 PMI have lookout on my rooted droid1, I was on the internet and was downloading am app from a website,after I got off the site and went to my notifications to allow the install look out came on over it and said that this app has been detected as having suspicious activity in it then it asked if I really wanted to continue to dwnld. So I didn't dwnld it of course. Went to another site andy got my app from there and dwnlded it with no issues. I think it works fine for me.
