    Maybe someone has an idea

    My mother recently got a new phone and gave me her old droid eris to use mainly as an mp3 player, but i reset the phone and lost all the apps. So i was wondering if there was a way i could download the free apps without the phone being registered

    Turn on wifi, and have fun. If you need to bypass the registration screen, tap the 4 corners of the screen in a clock wise pattern, starting in the top left corner. ie:
    1 2
    4 3

    I've tried that but the apps wont download to the device any suggestion on why
