    wifi issues on droid dna

I have a Verizon Droid DNA with me here in India. I am using a local sim which works after changing to global mode. Voice, SMS, Data are working but for some reason i am not able to connect to the local Wifi connections here.

I was able to use them before inputing the new local sim. Moreover, i also did a hard reset afterwards without the local sim card and the wifi started working. But as soon as i use the local sim and change the network to global mode the wifi stops working and then i have to hard reset without the sim card to be able to use WiFI.

please help i am a noob here.
