First ROM Installation Help

Ok..Rooted yesterday..Just did my complete backup in Bootstrap...Would like to do Smoked Glass ROM..Using this link: [ROM ]--CHARITY--Smoked Glass Themed V.10 !! Froyo 2.2.1 - Fast, Stable, & Great Battery Life - Android Forums Can I not use Bootstrap, or should I use Clockworkmod or SDRecovery? And are they available in market? I also have ES File Explorer...Also do i transfer file from PC to SD card? I know these seem like silly questions but I really have no idea what I'm doing and don't wanna screw this up...TIA

You won't be able to put that ROM on your DX it's a Moto Droid only build...

I would suggest to try out rubiX v1.6 for a good X ROM and on themes you can't go wrong with one of Team Incognito's for the X

There are other ROMS out there for the X but I find this one to runt he best on my phone

Once you find the one you want make sure to read the install instructions for that specific ROM as some have different install instructions (i.e mounting the system)

What does it mean 'move to root of SD card' should there be a file there?
