Themer question about framework-res.apk

I've decompiled the framework-res.apk using apk manager and i've been able to point a window background towards a picture (@drawable/default_wallpaper) making the window look transparent as long as the default wallpaper image is set. However i'd like to point it at the wallpaper that is set so that i could see live wallpapers behind the window or not just be tied down to the default wallpaper image thus making it truely transparent.
I was able to do this with the contacts.apk by pointing it towards @android:Theme.Wallpaper (no widgets) or @android:Theme.Transparent (to see widgets). I tried the same with in the framework-res.apk and i just get a force close when i open the window. The only thing i can get it to point at is images like i said. I'm new to coding so i don't even really understand where @android: exactly is. I understand @drawable is the drawable folder within the contacts but there is no android folder in the framework.
So what should i point at for the set wallpaper?
