Am I being "hacked?" Look at this!

    Specs:
    I have a Moto Droid 1
    Running Bugless Beast, V0.5
    Black N Bold Theme
    Stock Kernel

    Apps list:
    Barcode Scanner
    DropBox
    EasyHome

    Titanium Backup
    Rom Manager
    Root Explorer
    Weather Widget Donate
    WordFeud

I run the phone with GPS enabled, wifi off
    wireless networks enabled (for location)

My weather and google showed my location
    as: edendale, KwaZulu, Natal,ZA

    South Africa?

    Is it just a glitch?

Prob a glitch. Does your google home page show the wrong location or is it your maps app?

Yes, google homepage showed up with that text.
I've never had this happen, coupled to the fact I have GPS
enabled for the location just has me wondering.

    I hope it is nothing.

I assume you rebooted already? Also crazy things like this are happening on bb5 when not installed correctly. People have experienced things like apps opening and phone dialer dialing on their own. So...I have to ask....did u follow installation directions exactly? The whole don't touch the phone til it resets sometimes gets people.

    Just so we're clear...
I always follow directions as they're written.
I wiped everything, boot, cache, system, data, dalvik, battery stats...
I wiped 3times just in case.
I flashed when my battery was at 100%
I flashed after putting my phone in the freezer for about 5min
    for maximum cooling.

I have noticed my phone's battery die almost impossibly faster
than normal and running hot when it just sits there.

Keep in mind I have had bbv0.5 installed for quite awhile now with zero issues
until now. My dialer or apps opening on their own has never ever happened.

My brightness setting is at the lowest.

I would try a factory hard reset. I know that's a pain, but it sure solves a wide range of problems.

Good luck and/or enjoy being in another part of the world!!
