    Every ROM comes with a kernel, else your phone would be rendered useless...I believe 4.8 comes with 800Mhz or 1Ghz either way it is easy to change kernels if you would like higher or lower

    Might I also suggest titanium back-up (free in the Market) for backing up your apps before flashing a new ROM

    Its not needed with ss4.8 as you never remove them, it also has apps2SD built into the Rom. However all other roms I would agree with him ˆ

    well guys your not going to believe this so i decided to download rom manager downloaded bb 0.5 from there and not only did it install it successfully but also gave me all my contacts back!!! how i dont know but they are there lol now i went to phone info and i still have the old bandbase and need to install the newest lol how do i do that? also the kernal version reads the same but i did see that rom manager flashed the 800m kernal shouldnt it say that on the version?

    Pete has all of the basebands available on his website for download, they are easily installed through recovery using the same process this time with no wipe
