OK, now what? I made a backup via SPRecovery and ROM Manager.
I installed Liquid Frozen Yogurt via ROM Manager and supposedly it installed. (I did not notice anything different on the Droid, but boot recovery showed that it was installed successfully).
So far so good.
Next I tried to install the Liquid Smoke theme using the same process, and that's when everything went south.
When I try boot recovery now I am stuck in a loop of the droid and red eyeball screen.
Wiping cache and data does nothing.
Neither of my backups are available--which is not exactly helpful! My nandroid folder is supposedly empty and my backup created in Clockwork is not accessible. What is going on? How do I get something to actually load and boot up my phone? Hours of red eyeball and droid name are getting me seriously frustrated!
Most of time navigating in boot recovery fails and phone begins rebooting on its own. (the phone stops responding to pressing the up and down volume buttons and just reboots).
Battery life? No way to tell, it was fine when the whole process started.
Other than throwing my Droid up against the nearest wall, what do I do?
I am not able to connect via usb as far as I can tell.
Thank you in advance.
