    Just connect/mount your phone to your computer then drag and drop your SD card to your computers desk top. It should only take a few minutes. Obviously, the more you add to your SD card the longer it will take. I think the longest I've waited is 3 minutes.

    That depends on what process you are using, how knowledgable you are and how prepared
    you are. I would say that 30 minutes should do it.

    Agreed. it would take me 10 now but I allowed for a mistake and it took me 20.

    Hey guys, I've recently updated my Droid X to the gingerbread update pushed from Verizon. I now need to root the phone to take advantage of infrastructure wifi tethering. Can someone please direct me to a good step by step on how to root an already gingerbread droid x? Thanks
