update apk. zip

Ive been playing around with icons lately, and now i want to change most of them. I downloaded a blank update.zip file from somewhere on here, and was wondering if:
A- Can i put mutiple apk's into the zip, then install to update
B- When puttting the apk's into the update zip (example Camera apk)
would i just place the whole modded apk in or something else?

I'm having to go this route due to the fact that i cant seem to get ADB to work properly. Followed the instructions on the sticky thread, can get it to mount and open in both sysro/sysrw but no commands work after that, or i'm doing them wrong.

you need to add adb to your paths in the environmental variables

did that already, i can get into su sysro/sysrw but after it say permission denied

Heres a example of whats happening, so if i'm doing it wrong let me know:

Im just trying to get anything to work and i've read all the things on this site for commands and cant get it to go
