my clockwork recovery gets replaced by stock recovery?

i used to be rooted but i had to get another droid so i unrooted. on my new phone i used universal androot and it worked but for some reason when i try to change roms "after flashing spr and then clockwork several times" my phone goes into stock recovery. clockwork did let me make a backup but after that i keep going into stock recovery. NEW clockwork works the first time u boot into it and then after that everytime u go into recovery its the stock recovery

if you still rooted going into rom manager will flash stock recovery image for you.
