    Running UD 6.0 got update notice

    I'm running Ultimate Droid 6.0.0 and today I got the OTA phone update notice. I have not applied it yet, but I'm guessing its from VZ wanting to do the "official" froyo update. I was under the impression that once rooted the update notices would no longer come to the phone? And If I let it try to update I'm assuming it will lose all my rooted goodness?

    There are like 15 new threads like this a day. I have not gotten it, but I hear if you accept it, it will just download and try to install, but SP Recovery will block it. THis is what I have read many times...

    Sprecovery definitely blocks it. I did it this morning. I've read that Clockwork blocks it too. Allow the update to start and it will boot into Sprecovery and then the installation will be aborted.
