Kernel question/help

I rooted after doing the ota 2.2 manual a week or so ago on my Droid.

Im running LithMod now but have been testing kernels. I thought the kernels stayed with the rom when changing but looks like thats not the case, do they? And (slap my hand, I didnt back up kernels, just roms)

Sorry, I need the kernel from the 2.2 ota that first came out before they yanked it. .8 mhz I believe? Anywhere that would be found easily?
