easy root used to unroot ???

I bought and installed easy root from unstable apps.rooting worked great but had problems with rom manager,finally got backup made after several attempts. When I downloaded and tried to install sapphire and had no luck (recovery acts flaky). I unrooted using easy root,heres my question,I still have clock work bootloader if I uninstall rom manager will I return to factory bootloader ? I decided to just manually update to 2.2 . Thanks for any help

Also, if just rooted, I should receive the ota right? No roms installed.
