Only some apps support this feature so far a lot of the apps are being updated by their creators to support the feature so just wait for some updates although chances are some of your apps will let you move them to sd
duh - that makes sense... is there some way to free up internal memory?

Some roms have a built in memory management like the ROM i use. I don't know if yours does or not. Mine does and it is very coveinient. If yours doesn't you can free up memory using Terminal emulator from the market (the one by the dev with the last name Pelvich) and using custom scripts. The scripts should be on the first page of the rom you are running.
EDIT: GO BIG RED
You can also clean your cache there is an app called cachecleaner it has a recycling symbol for it's icon and it will clean all of your cache with one click if you're rooted. It frees up a lot of internal memory and i use it daily
OK Huskur so you want to move the apps from your phone to your SD card? First you will need a terminal emulator. Grab one from the market if you don't have one already, then type in the following commands:
su (enter)
cd /system/bin (enter)
sh pm setInstallLocation 2 (enter)
That should make those grey keys more available to you.![]()
