I have noticed that when im benchmarking my phone performs better when it is hot. Anyone else notice this?

The Android OS is tracking how you are using applications. As such, as you keep using it, it takes the apps that are not being actively used and rolls them out of memory. Since the apps can no longer request CPU time, the benchmark can now runs faster.

If you wish to test this theory, use a task killer and aggressive memory manager setting to clear out all of the application except the benchmark you are running while the phone is "cold".

I use autokiller on extreme, cache mate also. In theory wouldnt it become more unstable the warmer it gets, thats the way it is with pc cpus and gpus anyhow..
