Yes, but it will revert your phone to older android versions, the files it uses are old, and this whole method is copied from another post at this very site (and others as it claims), and really should only be used as a LAST RESORT because there's a whole bunch of ways to get your phone back to a working order without having to use this method.
I know this thread has gotten pretty old but it has to be worth a shot:
My Atrix will boot and say:
But as soon as the last line comes up it turns off and won't respond unless I pull the battery out. Do I have any hope at all of unbricking my phone?Code:svf:105:1:2 Failed to boot 0x1000 Entering NVFlash Recovery Mode
Thanks a lot
Thanks for getting back to me so fast!
I used RSDLite 5.3.1 I'm more than willing to try the newer one but I can't get it to do anything.
The phone boots, prints the message above, then turns off and won't respond unless I pull the battery.
I've tried booting it while holding down either/both the up/down volume to no avail :/
Tapping screen as I talk to myself on my Bootstrapped Bionic
Yeah I rooted using this method:
How To: Motorola Atrix 4G Root - BriefMobile
Edit:
I was trying to put GingerBlur on the phone, when it would no longer boot past the Motorola Icon. I tried using CKM but it still wouldn't get anywhere.
So then I got RSDLite 5.3.1 and tried using sbf1.5.2. It said it failed (battery didn't die) and now the phone prints that "failed to boot" message I posted and turns off.
From what I've read this isn't a hard brick (?) but I can't get it to respond to anything but turning on
