Wanting to add wallpapers to the Launcher2.apk

Running Bugless Beast Froyo.

I want to add the Droid X static wallpapers to the Launcher2.apk. However, I can't figure out how to get it working properly.

I've opened the .apk up in WinRAR and added the walls to the archive, but when I put the launcher back in, I get only a boot logo, nothing else.

Is there any way to put it into the Launcher with Root Explorer? If so, how?

I'm trying to accomplish the same thing. I've found that you need to edit an xml file that isn't viewable unless you decode the apk, which I've been able to do. After that I got nothing.

Got it to work on the latest Bugless Froyo. But it should work on any deodexed rom. I installed it after pushing with ADB but you should be able to download it directly and use a file manager to set the correct permissions and install it.
