About LinkBacksI know some of you are wondering if it's possible to tether with your android phone. The answer to this question is, YES, it is possible.
To do it just follow these steps.
1. Go to this website
PdaNet -- USB Tether/Bluetooth DUN for Android
2. Download software (make sure you unplug your phone from the computer first)
3. Follow directions on screen
4. Make sure you turn on pdanet on the phone everytime you want to use it and connect using the icon on the bottom right of your windows computer.
5. Enjoy your free tethering
If you want to do more than just go to websites after the trial expires, you will need to pay a one time fee of $29 to get the full version of the software.

We do not support such applications, so it got moved to the hacks section. Seeing as it skirts, not having the ability natively (and actually having to pay for it), whether or not it's an application, we put it in the section that has our disclaimers on the top, whether you read them or not is your choice.

just installed it and....
it's slow as hell! i was only getting about 10-15 k/s and the phone showed I had a 3G connection with good signal....anybody else dealing with this problem?

11-29-2009 07:06 PMBut in all, it is an APPLICATION that you install from the market. Hacks section should be reserved for actual hacks... at least in my opinion...
