SPRecovery keeps making me get stuck on the motorola logo :(

i rooted my phone and then i flashed SPRecovery on it and then re-booted to it..after i made a backup, i rebooted and it gets stuck on the motorola logo for a long time and i end up having to re-install it again and then root again...ive done it like six times and it keeps getting stuck on the motorola logo after installing SPRecovery and making a backup on it! what's going on??
