Importing Scripts

How do you import a script into a ROM. I am just messing around with some stuff and I want to use one of pets's scripts in another ROM (not for release of course or else I wouldn't be asking a stupid question that I would know the answer to). Is it as simple as taking it out of /xbin from one and putting it into another or is there more to it. Specifically I would like to import his zipalign_apks script into another ROM.
