    Please help!

I rooted my phone today by downgrading using RSD light and then applied the root, and then used this guide Higher Quality Video Recording | Root Your Droid to try to edit the camera settings on my droid.

Well, busybox couldn't be found, so I decided to stop and reboot. Ever since, my droid hasn't been able to start up. The backlight comes on, and I can access the recovery menu by doing power+X, but it wont do anyhting else. I've tried to a factory reset, and it still wont turn on.

What have I done? How do I fix this? RSD lite wont even see it anymore. Have I bricked my phone?

By the way, the M symbol for motorola shows before it goes black, the word Droid does not appear. It just goes blank with the blacklight still on

Edit: I am reflashing now. If it gets fixed, sorry for polluting your forums! I'll try not to jump the gun next time I almost brick my phone, but still, I need to know why I couldn't find busybox through the ADB shell. So, that would be great if you could answer that question. Thanks in advance! =]

Yep. Reflashing in RSD lite fixed it and I reactivated and rooted. I really need that HD camera edit, though. I have a school project to film on Sunday. I'm just afraid of having to reflash again, the process is somewhat tiring.

So, I need to know what went wrong with busybox. I Got to this command:

    busybox cp -R build.prop /system
And it said that Busybox could not be found. Is this a separate app or...?

Busybox is not an app. I'm not sure what the correct technical term is but it is a function of the OS, I think.

I'm not real familiar with the commands but I think that command is rebuilding busybox.

Where did you get the HD camera commands? Is this an add on for the rom you installed?

OK Did you install ABD, pull the file, modify, then push back to your phone?

I got to the modify part, and then switched the directory to SD card with this command

    cd sdcard
    Then the next command was

    busybox cp -R build.prop /system
Which resulted in the "busybox cannot be located" message.

When I had tried this I went ahead and tried to push the modified build.prop file over to my droid with

    mount -o ro,remount -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
and followed the rest of the article from then on. Afterwards I did a reboot and the phone failed to boot, which caused me to reflash and reactivate.

I'm not an expert on ABD but my sense is you can not skip any of the steps in the process. I did a quick read of the link-- did you install Busybox?
