    Installing Kernels

I just rooted my droid, no problems, everything went smooth. Then I tried to install 3 different "Kernels".

    1 from here
    P3Droid Kernels

    &

    2 from here
[UPDATE] New Kernels - Low Voltage + Medium Voltage - 3/25/2010

All seemed to install fine, but when i go to reboot, my phone is stuck with the motorola "M" logo. It might reboot once or twice, but never passes the M.

What does your phone say under menu -> settings -> about phone -> from firmware version on down. That should have been the first thing asked.

Good deal and thanks. I had a ton of troubles with p3droid's kernels (and not only that, but when I have posted about them, p3droid doesn't reply), try installing "Rom Manager-free" from the market, allow it to flash the CMRecovery image, then go to Download ROM -> CyanogenMod -> bekit kernels. They seem to be the best from what I experience and read.

    good luck
