    pre 2.1 bugless beast to bugless 2.1 w/out factory 2.1 update?

    Can I simply install the new 2.1 bb rom w/out the factory 2.1upgrade onto my older ver bb?

    Yes, you will probably want to do a factory reset (wipe data and cache) prior to installing it though. You can make backups of your applications and settings, through the apps on the market, MyBackup, Titanium Backup, Astro...among some others that have their fans out there.
