Rooted with 2.1. Can I run Rom's now?

Hello just got my phone last week. I got the OTA 2.1. Just yesterday I did the SBF back to stock, and rooted 2.1.

So can I run Rom's with this setup now? Whats the advantage to running a Rom?

Hello and welcome Floor it. Sounds like you returned to 2.0.1 by means of sbf, so you should be able to install a new recovery system and ROM. the recovery you pick, either SPrecovery(the one I use currently) or Clockwork recovery. Both work well. The advantages of running a new ROM are as varied as the ROMs themselves. The ROMs I choose to run are picked on the appearance of the ROM and its stability. I highly recommend either Adamz SmokedGlass or UltimateDroid. Both work very well, and either incorporate a blue theme or are able to be theme blue through other peoples work. I have lately been using UD. Check out the ROM section and read up on all the differences.
