About LinkBacksi hope this isn't in the wrong section, and i attempted the search function for this issue. that being said..
Roaming Indicator Off is on my drop down bar, and my lock screen.. both ever since i started using custom roms ( may have been that way when i first got it.. but i rooted and modded before i noticed ) anyways.. is there anyway i can fix this? i'd much rather it say Verizon like i see on everyone elses Droid. what can i do? any help here? thanks in advance!!

01-18-2011 08:23 PMI'm using the cyanogen mod and on my home network. Same message as the thread creator.
Been googling the issue and have tried putting my carrier in the eri.xml and placing it in the root/data folder. No luck so far -

01-19-2011 02:46 AMThis is how I got the "Roaming Notification off" , removed from the lock screen and removed from the drop down bar.
Rom:CyanogenMod-6.1
Settings> CyanogenMod Settings > User Interface > Date and Provider > Uncheck PLMN and SPN boxes.
I wasted way to much time on something so easy
