Wifi Tether issues

I am having issues getting my wifi tether to send the signal. My up and down just stay at 0.0kb. Everything looks like it is working, I can connect to the tether from my computer but no kbps.

I am running blackdroid v9 but it was also doing the same thing on bugless v9.

Any help with what this could be?

Worked on my BB v.9 so I don't think it's that. Try defaulting the app and setting it to a common channel such as 6 and removing the password. If that works then one problem is solved. Assuming everything is fine with the computer, uninstall and reinstall the newest version of the app and try again. I don't know what to tell ya

I used the tethering this past Wednesday while traveling from Central PA to Charlotte NC.

At first, I had difficulty connecting so I pressed the Access Control. That seemed to fix the problem.

I use a MacBook Pro so when I'm home I need to disconnect from my WIFI or the tether will not connect.

Make sure that another connection is preventing the phone from connecting.

Fixed. Not sure how but it just started working. ???????? Hope it keeps up.
