Phone won't turn on

I have Bugless Beast v 0.9 on my phone with Chevy's 5 slot, 1.25 ghz kernal. I was using the phone today and it felt hot towards the top. I didn't think anything about it(Der). My phone died due to the battery getting too low. Now i cannot get the phone to turn back on. I have tried to pull the battery(MANY times),and that still will not work. It has been charging for about an hour now, and still it won't turn on.

Any ideas or suggestions? I also tried to hold X and turn it on, but that didn't work either. Anyways, i guess there's no way for VZW to know that it was rooted or anything if they cannot turn it on, correct?

doesnt sound good to me. if its charging it automatically turns on the droid. so you might have done some internal damage (not positive though)

and i guess they will never know unless they find a way to turn it back on somehow..

sorry i dont have a solution for ur problem but i wanted to give you some feedback

Thanks for the quick replies. Unfortunately, the nearest corporate store is an hour away, so i guess i'll see what they have to say if nothing else is happens with the phone.

i tried my fiance's chord, which is for her env touch, and it too, does not work. Maybe by some miracle it may turn on tommorrow... If not, an hour drive is on my way

try pulling battery again, but pull out sd card out and reinsert again, replace battery & power on...just a try.

Ok...gonna ask you to do one more insane thing...pull out sd card and battery...plug in power cord and turn on device-see if it powers up...if so unplug, put everything back in and power on.

Thanks again to everyone who is contributing. I called VZW Customer support and they offered to ship one out. I think i'm going to the store tommorrow and try and get one there.
