lost SU after installing cyanogen need help

i lost super user after installing cyanogen and i cant download new roms.. if you can help me can you google talk me at chrisace89 i need to get this fixed as soon as posible.

When you say you lost Super User, what exactly do you mean? Are programs saying they don't have permissions? If so, do the following:

Open a Terminal Emulator (if you don't have one, search market for terminal)

Type the following (EXACTLY) in the Terminal Emulator's window using your physical keyboard:

su

mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system

chmod 755 /system/xbin/busybox

mount -o remount,ro -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system

sync

exit


That usually fixes permissions issues.

yeah i dont have permission and when i tried to type in what you said into terminal emulator it keeps saying access denied

Do you have the superuser app in your drawer?
Do you have Root Explorer? (you don't need it, but its another way to determine if you have lost root)
In terminal emulator if you type su do you get the # symbol for your prompt?

You could follow the first few steps in the first link in my signature to root again, if you determine you've lost root.
