busybox issue
I have been battling busybox for sometime. It started with trying to install metamorph. I have tried all kinds of suggestions. Never got any of it to work. So I quit trying. Well now I flashed ultimate Droid 7.0. I wanted to put the other colored wallpaper on. Did the code and it didn't work. I do know how to put stuff on root of sdcard, so that is not the issue. Well I tried to do the video camera fix with he build.prop
This is what I got on the wallpaper, and this...
I have asked several people about this and most ne'er seen it. I'm asking this here because its impossible to get any help in the blackdroid forum since it gets 50 posts a minute. And I don't think it pertains to his rom, and more about busybox.
$ export PATH=/data/local/bin:$PATH
$su
# su
# sysrw
# busybox cp -R /sdcard/build.prop /system/

well i hardly dare answer because you're clearly more experienced than me but i will anyway
just install droidmod v1.0 and it automatically installs busybox for you. then just uninstall or go on with wiping and installing what you want
just a thought. after rereading your post maybe that's not even what you're trying to do. anyway good luck

Make sure your permission is set right... Try this
adb shell
chmod 755 /system/xbin/busybox
reboot
And see if that helps.

I was getting adb not found, but got it working, but it still does the long list of functions as stated above. Do I need to try and remove busybox and reinstall it? if that is the case how do I do that?
Oh and thanks for the help you guys...

What exactly are you trying to do?
-
Well at that time I was trying to fix the video issue on the ultimate Droid 7.5. With the build.prop that was posted. But everytime I tried, I got that list and it didn't fix the issue. But blackdroid posted his new rom and it took care of the issue. Thank for all the help.
