    Can't update kernel: E:Can't mount SDCARD:update.zip

    So after a long time of messing around with my Droid, I was finally able to install Bugless Beast 0.7 on it. Everything is going great, but now I want to overclock it. I went down to the Bugless Beast 0.7 topic and downloaded the 1.25 GHz OCing kernel that's in an update.zip package. When I go to install it I get an error and then E:Can't mount SDCARD:update.zip.

    I really don't know what to do. Does anyone know what might cause it, or how to fix it? All suggestions appreciated.

    P.S. Is there a reason why my 4 buttons don't vibrate when pressed anymore?

    Verify that there are not two update.zip files. Verify that you placed the OC update.zip in the SD card and not in one of the folders. Finally, make sure that there is only one".zip" as the file extension.

    I think there is a setting that controls that hepatic sensation on the soft keys. I do not use so, I can't point you to the exact location.

    Also make sure that you haven't already mounted it to the PC via the drop down.

    Let me say that I did everything right, and it still never worked. Tried clearing the card, and dropping the file back on there... no use.

    I used my old 2gb card and for some reason it worked fine.

    If anyone has problems with this... maybe for some reason the Droid's preinstalled card doesn't like update.zip.
