you can't use the update.zip method, you have to a nadroid advanced restore
You need 2.1
you don't need 2.1...I was on DroidMods 2.0.6 ROM (Which is 2.0.1 based), and did SPRecovery Nandroid restore and am now running BD's UD 5.0 (ERE25).Follow this: Nandroid Backup Installation Instructions:
-Update & backup any files you wish to restore, this will wipe /data
-Extract the files from the archive using WinRAR or a similar program
-Place the extracted folder (the ROM) into the "nandroid" folder on your sdcard
-Reboot into recovery mode (hold the power and "x" button at the same time)
-Wipe data/factory reset
-Wipe cache partition
-Backup/Restore
-Advanced Nandroid Restore
-Choose backup (select the ROM)
-Perform Restore
-Enjoy!

Do This Bro, Make sure you do a Nandroid Backup, I backup data and apps with with my backup pro (market app). Download the ultimatedroid5.zip, extract it, place in nandroid folder, boot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset scroll down to yes, (i love this feature btw) wipe cache partition, backup/restore, advanced nandroid restore, (i check everything), choose backup, select ultimatedroid, Perform Restore...It's all right there on the page! http://www.droidforums.net/forum/and...ultimate+droid
