They work, I just tested them both. Maybe try holding ctrl while clicking on them. If not you can browse to them, they are coming directly from Motorola's site.

I tested the links with Firefox. Both move to download the files no problem.
Try right clicking > save as. Or try in a different browser.
A lot of different things could block the download ie. Pop up block.., Antivirus for whatever reason, etc. Keep trying you'll get it.

So I followed all of the steps and in RSD, it says "Please manually power up this phone" under Status and under Progress it says "Executed:100%". I was able to go through the droid activation and now I am able to go through the phone settings, install apps, etc. Is it ok to unplug it now?
Thanks for the help!

Just for kicks I would turn the phone off then pull the plug.

Now I dont feel so bad. I was so scared I activated while it was still connected to RSDLite too.

When you're trying to use RSDLite, did you hold "up" and the power button on boot on the D-pad on your phone to prep the phone to accept the update?
Does RSDLite list your phone before you try to apply the 2.0.1 spf file?
Yes - When I power on the phone, I hold up on the dpad and get to the bootloader. I dont recall exactly what it says, but it says "Battery ok, program ok, etc."........However, when I start RSDlite, when I click "Show Device", most of the values on the left window pane on RSD say N/A. Could that be part of the problem? I have all the drivers installed btw.
Is your phone already rooted / modded? Are you using the correct the driver ? 32bit / 64bit? Make sure you're running RSDLite as administrator on Win vista / win 7.
I've had mine say N/A and its worked fine still. Just as it is listed in line 1 of RSDLite, you should be good. Try it again.
My phone is NOT rooted/modded....Trying to get back to stock 2.01 from stock 2.1 update1 so i CAN root......I have the correct driver (32 bit), and i'm on Win XP Pro running as the admin. I ran RSDlite several times, and i noticed that before i get the error message, I see it briefly flash something like " couldnt flash enough images, then it gives me the fail message i posted earlier. I'm beginning to think that it may be a USB problem, i'm not entirely sure that I have USB 2.0 on my computer - its from 2005 (Dell Inspiron 9300). Gonna try to find someone else with a computer that I can use, as my work computer is a state work computer so I have no admin access. Forgot to add that when my phone is in the bootloader screen, it never changes to "SW install in process" or whatever it is supposed to say. It just sits at the original bootloader screen

what is this SUPPOSED to do? it doesn't do anything for me..
"3. Connect your phone to USB and turn it off then while your phone is booting hold up on the DPAD."
edit: nevermind, i'm an idiot... should read "hold up on the d-pad THEN power on"

lol Sam...but yeah it's exactly the same way as booting into recovery, just instead of pushing x, push up on the dpad
