Unroot/Unbrick your phone using .sbf

how do you open the .sbf files??wat program do u need??

This is very clearly directed in the first post. Please go read it and youll see. You need to use rsd lite.

rsd lite doesnt open. how do i open this program??

2. Install RSDLite 4.6 AND the 32-bit or 64-bit Motorola USB Drivers (Depends on your system most will need 32-bit some will need 64-bit)
3. Connect your phone to USB and turn it off then while your phone is booting hold up on the DPAD.
4. Run RSD Lite 4.6 as Administrator (For all you Vista and 7 folks out there. If you are using XP you may not need to run as Administrator)
5. Click the ... next to the filename box and browse to where you saved the .sbf file and double click the .sbf file.

It cannot be any more easily explained than this. make sure youre running it as an administrator. And on windows.

You use 7zip to open 7z files.

i understand but what program do i have to use to open rsdlite 4.6. what program do i need to run .7z??

Winrar will open the .7z file. Its just a compression file. Then the rds lite will be an exe.

I dont understand. when i connect my phone to the usb and i turn off my phone it doesnt boot back on??

I had to recover from newbie ROM installation syndrom. Using this method. Quick note and experience I had. RSDLite said my install FAILED when infact it did not. I dont know if anyone else saw this but DO NOT UNPLUG YOUR DEVICE. Let the phone do its thing even after the RSDLite "Failed" status. Your phone WILL reboot on it's own and recover clean.
