I saw you say you were going to do this. Will watch and tell you what I think.![]()
yes thank you. this will help so many people.
you rock.
Niiiiiiiiiiiiice video Payne.......fantastic job.
K, I watched it, and when I saw you using droid root helper, It put me off. People shouldn't use apps to help them root and install things. IMO, this is just as bad as using DMUpdater. It requires almost no user input, which leads to people always complaining when something goes wrong, because they do not know what they are doing.
Now, to the video itself.
Great Vid! It was done very well, though having it all on the computer screen was good and bad. It kept you from having to change from your computer to the droid and back. Though in doing so kept you from being able to show every step of the process.
So, though this does get people rooted with SPRecovery and such, it leads to the inevitable "0MG 1 Th1nK I Br!CKed MaI ph0nE! H3lpZ M3h!" But what do I know, I'm only 15.
Oh, and for your next video, why not show people how to make nandroid backups and install and overclock roms? I think that would be great.

Thank you very much for your Input!
The next How to will be Showing how to make a nandroid backup and install overclocked Roms indeed.
Ive noticed that the first upload of this video was "so-so" quality. So i re Uploaded it with HD Quality. The Audio and Video are 10x clearer (Also the Music is turned down a bit) I will be Making new vids every week!
See all that i do for you guys?? Lmao It was My Pleasure to help.
Nice Work On this MM1 Payne.
But as the previous poster stated,
Maybe you can add a few clips of the boot process,
backing up your Droid
and of loading the rom in your next version of this video.
Glad you fixed your audio from your original.
As for making it to easy, This was how I rooted my DROID after hours and days of researching it myself. So I cheated, I was getting ready to do it all the hard way, but then I ran across "Droid Root Helper" and decided on this, since sholes was down, and certain files I needed to root were not accessible to me.
Most of all, to those thinking of going this way, BACKUP Your System and content of your SD Card. Back Up Your Apps. Do some research before you dive into this. But as you just saw in MM1 Payne's video, this is very doable.
I am looking forward to future Videos MM1 Payne
Keep up the good work man![]()
Where Ever you Go! There You Are !!
Very nice video Payne. I love how you explain root and everything so even the noobs understand. Now we need a video on non-app assisted rooting.![]()
