Since now, you have SPRecovery, you can download the update.zip from Pete's Bugless Beast thread, place it on the sdcard, and reboot into recovery.....then select install, allow update.zip installation, and then select install /sdcard/update.zip (deprecated)
Then reboot when it's done! OR
Download the nandroid file from the same thread with the update.zip, extract with winRAR on your computer, place the extracted file in your nandroid folder on the sdcard, reboot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition, backup/restore, Advanced nandroid restore, choose backup, (pick the file), and select restore, reboot!!

Yup. If your are using the update.zip method you are correct.
Just delete the one on the card and replace it with the new one, boot into recovery and follow the directions from above.
I had a nice signature, but the mean ate it.

He already mentioned going from the Sholes updater to BB. I would assume he knew enough to get the rom from one of the BB threads because that's what he wanted.

thanks natediddy and nerd it worked, but it looks the same as sholes, except for my facebook icon is gone, how do i get it back? what are the other differences between sholes and bugless beast?
-
facebook probably just got deleted... go to the market and redownload it...
but im not sure what BB has that Sholes does not and vise versa? the only thing i have been able to find is that Sholes has some widgets and stuff that BB does not come with... but are easy to get... im sure other people here know more about what one has that the other doenst more then i do...
