    Help remove Launcher2***PLEASE***

    Please someone help me remove Launcher2.

    I was screwing around the other day and downloaded it and it didnt work, well i was using shoals and so i decided today to try simply stunning and hoped that would eliminate it. But it keeps popping up saying (the application Launcher (process com.android.launcher2) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again.) with FC.
    I like SS but want to solve this problem. i am a noob so forgive me, i feel a little over my head right now.

    by the way i love this forum. i never realized how much you could do with this phone.
    Better to be Judged by 12 than carried by 6!!!

    Just use Astro. Go to Launcher2, Manage Applications and uninstall. It's that simple.

    Thats the problem, i cant find it in astro.
    Better to be Judged by 12 than carried by 6!!!

    you can always use Astro to search for a partial file name too

    Astro won't let you uninstall it (see above)? Where did you find the zip or apk?

    Gang, for apk installs you need something like astro.

    To remove you simply go to menu, applications, manage, and open launcher... then remove.

    Posts 2, 3, 4, 7, 8 and now 9 all mention Astro. It appears the OP is using it. Not sure why he can't install doing what you and hook suggested.

    the file is apk. i have tried to unistall through astro and it says it cannot uninstall. I found through root explorer and it says it is a read only file.
    Better to be Judged by 12 than carried by 6!!!
