    Busybox Install Help

    I am very new to this whole rooting thing, and last night when I was trying to intall busybox on my droid and I ran into a problem. I was following the guide on rootyourdroid.com to install busybox, but I got stuck once I have to tell abd to push busybox I have pointed my command prompt to the tools folder inside of sdk correctly because if I type adb, Advanced Debug Bridge comes up with all of the options and whatnot.

    The command is which doesn't work for me is:
    adb push busybox /data/local/busybox

    When I type that it says, "error: device not found"

    I am using Windows Vista if that helps.

    Any ideas?

    If you need help with root helper try this thread Help installing Busybox and MetaMorph on Droid . One of the posts gives the exact way to install it through terminal and DRH.

    Go to settings, applications, development and make sure you have USB debugging enabled.
