    I think it will if you check Delivery Report in settings.

    Welcome to the DROID forums.. depending on your phone, you can go into text messaging, options, delivery confirmation. Make sure its enabled... that will enable you to see if your texts are received...

    Other than that, you can check your messaging details through your provider... it should tell you if it was received... but not read...
