the only time my phone really gets hot is when i am tethering with the phone in the charging cradle. i guess it doesn't like that. it gets to about 45c and then stays there. my charging profile is 125/550.

it'll sometimes get to about 38, maybe 40c when browsing the internet or streaming music as well. other than that it stays nice and cool.
